Integration Across the HPE and Micro Focus Product Portfolio

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has just recently merged with Micro Focus to create the seventh largest pure-play software company under the Micro Focus brand. DevOps is a top solution area at Micro Focus, which is now supported by a much larger product portfolio. In addition to HPE’s products, the DevOps portfolio includes products from the relatively recent acquisition of Serena Software, among others.

Micro Focus’ value proposition emphasizes enabling the delivery of applications with end-to-end visibility across the toolchain composed of their product offerings. How can this newly combined portfolio deliver on visibility and collaboration? In the video linked below Tasktop Product Manager Trevor Bruner demonstrates how Tasktop connects key tools in the Micro Focus landscape including Micro Focus ALM (formerly HPE ALM), Micro Focus ALM Octane (formerly HPE ALM Octane), Solutions Business Manager (formerly Serena SBM), and Dimensions RM (formerly Serena Dimensions RM).

Tasktop is a longtime integration partner of HPE and most recently collaborated with HPE to deliver the free HPE ALM Octane I/O integration product now called Micro Focus ALM Octane I/O. This connects Micro Focus ALM or Micro Focus ALM Octane to Atlassian JIRA, CA Agile Central (Rally), Microsoft TFS/VSTS, and VersionOne. We’re excited about the new Micro Focus and look forward to connecting the broad portfolio as a key integration partner delivering on the end-to-end visibility and collaboration across tools.
