Vivit, an independent, non-profit organization representing the Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) software community, aims to foster education, community building, and advocacy for its members. Since Tasktop’s mission is to connect the world of software delivery, it only makes sense for Tasktop to be involved in the conversation.

With 76 local chapters spanning 28 countries and 20 different special interest groups (SIGs), Vivit covers all bases HPE. Recently, Tasktop’s Principal Pre-Sales Engineer, Jeff Downs, has been appointed the leader of the Software Lifecycle Integration SIG.

In this position, Jeff leads the virtual community of software practitioners and managers in discussions relating to creating tool infrastructures and processes that increase the collaboration and interaction among the tools and teams involved across the software development and delivery lifecycle.

In addition to discussions and regional events, Vivit also hosts webinars. On Tuesday, August 16th at 3:00pm ET, Tasktop’s VP of Industry Strategy, Betty Zakheim will join Vivit for a webinar on how to avoid DevOps, Agile, & Lean transformation failures using software lifecycle integration.
